Mack Saxon

Mack Saxon was a basketball and football coach at the University of Texas El Paso. From 1929 to 1941, he coached the football team to a 65-44-8 record. He had three 7-1 seasons at UTEP. His 1936 team lost in the Sun Bowl, in the only bowl game he had been invited to. From 1928 to 1934, he coached the school's basketball team. His record as the coach was 34-60.
