Maciej Szczęsny (born June 28, 1965) was a footballer from Poland, who played for Legia Warsaw , Widzew Łódź , Polonia Warszawa and Wisła Kraków as a goalkeeper. He participated in the UEFA Champions League with Legia Warszawa and Widzew Łódź in the 1995/1996 and 1996/1997 seasons. Szcęsny played 7 times for the Poland national football team. He is now a football commentator. His son, Wojciech, plays for the Arsenal London Youth team.
