Machine Head (2000) is an independent horror film about a teenager who creates a zombie as a science project.

Max Kelp, reviled high-school nerd, is obsessed with a theory involving internal combustion power and a computer. Max creates a zombie, using a corpse and a lawnmower engine, for his school Science Fair.
