Machida Station (町田駅 Machida-eki?) is a railway station on the Yokohama Line of East Japan Railway Company (JR East) located in Machida, Tokyo, Japan.
The station is located adjacent to Machida Station of the Odakyū Odawara Line.

The station was opened as Haramachida Station (原町田駅 Haramachida-eki?) on September 23, 1908 by Yokohama Railway, a predecessor of the Yokohama Line. The station was moved 0.4 km toward Hachiōji and renamed Machida on April 1, 1980.[1]

An average of 104,576 passengers a day boarded trains at Machida Station in fiscal 2006. This ranks 30th among all JR East stations. [2]
