Mach 1 Music is a music production company. Its founder, President/CEO, and lead songwriter and producer is Eddie Galan, otherwise known as "Eddie G." Mach 1 Music's Eddie G. has achieved 16x platinum status and 4 Billboard #1 albums. Eddie Galan gained his fame in the past two years, 2006/2007, after producing a series of hits for "High School Musical", "The Hannah Montana Soundtrack", B5, and many others. 2006 ended with a bang, garnering an American Music Award nomination for "Album Of The Year", a Billboard Award nomination for "Album Of The Year," a Billboard Award win for "Soundtrack Album of The Year," and the highest selling album of 2006, all for his work on Disney's "High School Musical." The "Hannah Montana Soundtrack" finished the year with the 8th highest selling album of the year. 2007 was an incredible year for the hit songwriter/producer, as he placed over 100 major placements in 2007, including film and tv cuts. Thus far in 2008, Eddie Galan has signed a stunning list of top songwriters and producers to his company, a select group of up and coming artists and has continued his successful run with major placements, landing over 20 major cuts in the first half of 2008. Eddie Galan has officially been welcomed as a Voting Member of the Grammy Academy and as a member of the Grammy Academy's "Producer & Engineers Wing". [2] One of the most current and noted new placements for Eddie Galan and Mach 1 Music is the upcoming single, "Incredible". Eddie Galan co-wrote and co-produced "Incredible", which is releasing July 2008 on Interscope recording artist, the Clique Girlz, debut album. [3]
Eddie Galan has also co-written & co-produced "The Real Me," performed by Danielle McKee. "The Real Me" can be heard in the new Ashley Tisdale film, Picture This!, coming ABC Family July 13th and to DVD on July 22nd. Eddie Galan & Mike "The Professor" Leslie of Mach 1 Music have co-written & produced Rigo Luna's Official 1st Single off his upcoming album,"COMPTON'S MOST WANTED", releasing this fall. The single, "Too Good For Me" and it's music video will be released this July! In addition, Mach 1 Music's Steven "Stizzle" Schneider has writen and produced all the music for "Get.Fit.With. Alyson", Alyson Stoner's new interactive internet series that will engage, motivate, and inspire kids to regularly excerise and maintain healthy lifestyles. The series is presented by Nintendo's Wii gaming system.
