Macbeth, is a silent 1909 film adaptation of the William Shakespeare play, starring Paul Mounet and directed by André Calmettes. There were two film versions of Macbeth produced that year, the second being Macbeth (1909 Italian film), starring Dante Cappelli and directed by Mario Caserini. They were the second and third film versions of the play made.
