Macaé Esporte Futebol Clube, usually known simply as Macaé, is a Rio de Janeiro 1st division Brazilian football team from the city of Macaé, Rio de Janeiro state, founded on July 17, 1990.

The home stadium Claúdio Moacir de Azevedo is partially on construction and can hold around 2,000 people. The row of seats has a very poor iron structure, therefore, the city hall decided to build concrete seats for 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. However, the construction is very delayed.

The official colors are yellow, blue and white.
