Malcolm M. MacArthur (January 19, 1862 - October 18, 1932) was a Major League Baseball pitcher during part of the 1884 season. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland - one of only eight players in Major League Baseball history to be Scottish natives.

MacArthur started and completed six games for the Indianapolis Hoosiers of the American Association. He gave up 80 baserunners (57 hits, 21 walks, and 2 hit batsmen) in 52 innings. He also gave up 49 runs, but only 29 of them were earned runs.

His first game was on May 2, 1884 against the St. Louis Browns at Sportsman's Park in St. Louis. The Hoosiers lost, 8-1. His second game (May 9, 1884) was a winning effort against the Louisville Eclipse at Eclipse Park in Louisville, Kentucky. The score was 8-2. He would pitch in only four more games, the last being on June 9.

In his short MLB career he was 1-5 with 19 strikeouts and an ERA of 5.02.

MacArthur died at the age of 70 in Detroit, Michigan.
