Saint MacCathbad Colman is a sixth century Irish saint. He is famed in Irish hagiology. MacCathbad was distinguished as MacCathbad, whence Kilmackevat, County Antrim, was Bishop of Kilroot, which was a minor see afterwards incorporated in the Diocese of Connor. He was a contemporary of St. Ailbe, and his feast has been kept on 16 October.[1]
