Mackintosh shop - Burlington Arcade

In mid 20th century, the Mackintosh raincoat, or Mack, was synonymous with Dirk Bogart, private detectives and sexually challenge loan men. At the start of the 21st century the Mackintosh company has developed the brand to become an upmarket style icon on a par with Burberry and especially popular with Japanese women.

This shop display for the Mackintosh brand of raincoat is in the particularly expensive London shopping arcade, Burlington Arcade.
