Drawing by Billy Corgan explaining the connections between songs on the Machina albums, and how they are concept albums. "Virex", "Disco King", and "Slow Song" would be reworked into "The Imploding Voice", "The Everlasting Gaze", and "The Crying Tree of Mercury", respectively, and would all appear on Machina/The Machines of God. "Stand Inside" refers to "Stand Inside Your Love", "Sunshowers" is "Raindrops + Sunshowers", "I of the Radio" would become "I of the Mourning", and "Heavy Metal" refers to "Heavy Metal Machine". "Blue Skies Bring Tears", listed on the chart as "Blue Skies", appears on both Machinas, and "Glass and the Ghost", otherwise known as "Glass and the Ghost Children", is the longest song on either album.

[edit] Fair use rationale for the articles Machina and Machina II
I, Werideatdusk33, believe that the use of this non-free image in the articles Machina/The Machines of God and Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music is fair because:
- No free or public domain images can be created for this image.
- The image does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the albums in any way.
- This image is widely distributed in other venues, so its use on Wikipedia does not make it significantly more accessible or visible than it already is.
- The image is being used for educational and informational purposes only and serves to illustrate the point that these albums are concept albums.
- The image is not present on the original album art, and its use is not believed to detract from the original albums in any way, or deprive its copyright holders of any financial gain.
Note that this does not claim fair use in articles other than Machina/The Machines of God and Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music. If you wish to use this image in another article, please add a new fair use rationale below.
