From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
My name is Sue Maberry, I am the Director of the Library at Otis College of Art and Design.
After monitoring the listservs and hearing the controversy around Wikipedia, I decided to investigate it more. I have to teach students and faculty how to use web resources.
In the process of learning it enough to teach it, I began to find the process of editing fascinating.
I've been looking up subjects which I know something about and have found them lacking. So, I'm going about updating and creating as seems necessary.
Been working on the areas of artists' books, women in the arts, Otis College, art schools, etc.
Why aren't more librarians involved in this work? We're busy, but this seems important since so many students are using it.--Sue Maberry 21:27, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
