Mabedzenge Primary School is a primary school in Shurugwi Rural Areas, between Cha Cha Cha Township and Tongogara High School. It was established in 1943. The name Mabedzenge was derived from the totem which another branch of the Elephant totem in Zimbabwe which is the totem of the majority people living in the area.
It is only 2km from Tongogara Township to the northeast and about 8km from Vungwi Primary School to the west along the same road. It is the greatest rival of Vungwi in terms of both sport and singing competitions over the years, although Vungwi has always excelled.
It is an Anglican run and sponsored school. The school won many competitions on tree planting, mainly Eucalyptus trees.
