Ma Wang (Hangul: 마왕, Hanja: 魔王, English Translation: Devil) , aka The Lucifer, is a Korean Drama produced by Olive 9 Production and aired on KBS2 starting March 21, 2007. It is on Wednesday and Thursday, starting at 9:55 PM. The drama is produced by Park Chan Hong, scripted by Kim Ji Woo. The executive producer for the drama is Lee Duk Kwun. Starring Uhm Tae Woong, Shin Min-a, Joo Ji Hoon.

Gang Oh Soo (강오수), acted by Uhm Tae Woong -is a policeman who works in the office of crimes of violence. He is active and speaks straightforward. He does not give up on any circumstances, rather he faces off with courage. He is from a rich family and second son of a famous politician. During his middle school and high school years, he was considered as trouble-maker causing many troubles. However, after killing his friend with a knife, he turned away from his dark past.[1]

Seo Hae In (서해인), acted by Shin Min-a - A librarian who secretly can perform psychometrics. She is humorous and has bright attitude. She has a wide knowledge about Tarot cards. Her father died, and she lives with her deaf mother. She finds out her ability when she was 12 years old through a certain incident. [2]

Oh Seung Ha (오승하), acted by Joo Ji Hoon - is a lawyer who voluntarily defends poor people. He is kind to everyone and has ability of listening people's problem and suggesting solutions. However,12 years ago, his life changed after death of his older brother shortly followed by his mother's death due to the shock from her son's death. He disappeared after graduating middle school, became lawyer through testing without proper education background. He is hiding his real identity and preparing for revenge.[3]

12 years ago, Kang Oh Soo with his three friends killed a student, Jeong Tae Hong. When the police car arrived, a young girl, Seo Hae In unfortunately was standing in the crime scene with peppermint candy in her hand. After that incident, she finds out about her special psychometrics power and began using her power to secretly help solve criminal cases. Now, Oh Seung Ha became the lawyer who everyone praises for his kindness and caring toward poor people suffering injustice. Behind Kang Oh Soo's back, step by step, he is preparing...[4]
