Talk:M40 motorway

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

M4 was the first motorway to link London and Birmingham, the M40 connection came much later as for years it just conmnected London with Oxford albeit the M40 may be older as a motorway, SqueakBox 19:07, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

No the first motorway link was the M1/M6. The M4 goes to Cardiff. Regan123 19:32, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Junction 7

I don't think you can use junction 7 (thame) to get onto the M40 and travel west, there is a slip road, but I believe that it has been closed off, for some reason, does anyone know why this sliproad is closed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.133.92.229 (talk) 08:27, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
