[edit] Speedy deletion of Japan Racing Association Hall of Fame
A tag has been placed on Japan Racing Association Hall of Fame requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Muro de Aguas (write me) 17:33, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] My Edits
- Please do not issue personal attacks as you did here. Comment on content not on other users.
- Rather than accusing me of being "immature" and "affront" you need to look at the core policies of Assuming good faith. My edits were to improve the article. Just because I tagged the article for CSD doesn't mean I have less of a right to edit than any one else, because another core policy is no ownership of articles as they are released under the GNU Free Documentation License. The tagline of Wikipedia is that anyone can edit.
- My edits were per WP:MOS your formatting of references was inappropriate. If you thought my edits were so bad such as adding the birth date why did you keep them?
- The reason I nominated the article for speedy deletion was because it looked unnotable. Thousands of unnotable articles are created each day. If a user sees something like this it does not look at all notable, because a) It did'nt indicate her Significance b) It cited no references or sources You should consider building an article first on your user subpage before implementing it.
- Issues regarding parentage however were entirely your fault, I'm afraid. When I was improving the formatting I couldn't save the changes properly because it was resulting in edit conflict. This is why information was added in the wrong places.
- I hope you take my advice on board. Regards --Bit Lordy (talk) 03:08, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
