There's a lot of references, which is great. Problem is that it looks like little more than a bunch of lists. Convert this article to actual qriting and it could be a GA relatively easily. Had to rate it start thoguh.-- Wizardman 15:40, 28 February 2007 (UTC) (edit)

[edit] Comments
This article has little detail on his scientific achievements. A discussion of a few of his major publications and their contribution to plant science would add greatly to the article. TimVickers 16:12, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Some deletions
I removed fair use image Image:Perez_de_cuellar.gif, removed deleted Image:Pov.jpg. I also removed link to a wikibook Information_and_Communication_Technologies_for_Poverty_Alleviation as it is not authored by Swaminathan and may be considered as a publicity drive (though from a free source) here.--Victor D PARLE 02:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Frauds
The external link given by some is a propaganda site. There were several such sites which were banned by the govt fr spreading hatredness. ~rAGU
[edit] Neutrality tagging
This article needs some serious vetting for neutrality. It is getting close to advertisement. Swaminathan is certainly quite capable, but he doesn't walk on water. Michaelbusch (talk) 07:30, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
