Madhav Vittal Kamath is the chairman of Prasar Bharati and a leading columnist of India.
Mr. Kamath worked as the Editor of Sunday Times for two years (1967 - 69) and then rejoined Times as the Washington Correspondent for nearly 10 years (1969- 78). He has also served as editor of The Illustrated Weekly of India.
He has authored nearly 40 books on various topics.
He was awarded Padma Bhushan award in 2004.
