M. S. Ramarao

M. S. Ramarao (or M. S. Rama Rao) (1921-1992) was a famous singer in Andhra Pradesh, India. He gained fame for his Telugu Version of 'Hanuman Chalisa'. He also narrated Sundara Kanda (one part of the epic Ramayana) in form of Songs in Telugu. He gained fame for his singing the above two works and was awarded the name of 'Sundara Dasu' in 1977.
In 2003 a street in Hyderabad was named Sundara Kanda M S Rama Rao Lane in his honour.[1]
