M. S. Baskar is an Indian film personality who is one of the leading comedy actors in Tamil Cinema.

M. S. Baskar has acted in several movies and was acclaimed for his role in the Tamil television serial Chinna Pappa Periya Pappa, which became one of the top-rated and highly-watched programs on Sun TV. In early 2008, he has been He has been acting in one of the most-awaited movies of the year Sivaji: The Boss, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Shankar. He has also acted in a number of other serials, including Alaigal, Vazhkai, Selvi and Arasi.
