M. Pat Korb

M. Pat Korb is founder and director of the Gestalt center of Gainesville in Gainesville, Florida. She is co-author of Gestalt Therapy: Practice and Theory (Pergamon Press, 1989). Pat holds an M.A. in English and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Florida. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, is listed in the Gestalt Directory, and is a founding member of the International Gestalt Therapy Association (IGTA) -- now the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy [1].

Korb trained under Gertrude Krause, herself a student of Fritz Perls.
