M. Nawaz Khokhar

Haji M. Nawaz Khokhar belongs to the famous Arain tribe of sub-continent, is a former deputy speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, minister of science & technology, and ex-member of the assembly. Khokhar was found guilty of fraud in June 2004 , sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined 1,890,000 Rupees. In August 2006 the lahore high Court's special appellate bench overturned the conviction and acquitted him of the charge. [1]
