Mohamad Nasir Mohamad or M. Nasir (born 4 July 1957 in Singapore), a Malaysian singer, composer, producer, actor and film director.

M. Nasir began his career in the artistic and music scene after obtaining his diploma in western painting from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, in Singapore in 1978. At that time, he was very involved in writing lyrics and acting in plays. It was while singing with a local band, that he attracted the attention of Wan Ibrahim, then Executive Producer of Polygram Singapore, who introduced him to the record company.
As a Malaysian all time best composer, M. Nasir has created numerous number of the country's best song ever, he is also the main figure who is responsible to bring up several Malaysian best artists including Alleycats, Search, Wings, Ella, Ziana Zain, Hattan, Spider & recently Mawi. days and his debut film was Kembara Seniman Jalanan. He also appeared in Fenomena, Selubung, Balada, Simfoni Duniaku and Merah, the latter he also directed.
Nasir has acted in a number of television blockbuster dramas including Hambali Seorang Jeneral, Ilhamku and Salam Taj Mahal.
In 2005 he became the new principal for the 3rd season of Akademi Fantasia, where he helped the rise of a Malaysian singer, Mawi.

Nasir has received a variety of different industry awards including:

- Won Overall Winner Award three times in Juara Lagu;
- Won four out of five awards for Juara Lagu (1994);
- Best Male Vocal and Best Rock Album in Anugerah Industri Muzik, 2000;
- Most Popular Male Singer; Best Album, Best Vocal Performance, Best Pop Album, Best Album Cover and Anugerah Sri Wirama at Anugerah Industri Muzik;
- Top Composer in Anugerah MACP (2002-2007 )
