M. Maurice Hawkesworth

M. Maurice Hawkesworth (February 23, 1960, South Bend, Indiana, USA) is an American producer and songwriter based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

He owns the independent record label Invisible Wave (aka Iwave Records) and manages a number of bands and artists, such as Said the Shark, A Kid Hereafter, Windermere and Friends Of Mary Anning.

One of the albums he produced for Iwave were chosen by Danmarks Radio as one of that year's ten most important Danish albums:

  • Windermere: The World Is Here (2004)

He composed the music and songs for the film All About Anna (2005).

Previously, M. Maurice Hawkesworth was A&R Creative Manager for the Danish record company Mega Records, working with bands like Ace of Base and Savage Rose.

He also has a background in artwork, photos and posters. His work is included in the Hoover Institution Archives Poster Collection.[1]
