M. J. McDonnell

M. J. McDonnell (July 17, 1952January 22, 2000) was an American actress who only starred in one film having a minor role.

McDonnell was born Mary Joan McDonnell in Akron, Ohio. McDonnell's appearance was in the horror film Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers playing "Dr. Hoffman's assistant" in the movie. She was also married to Dwight H. Little, a film director, they had one child together. Later years, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

McDonnell was known as adventurous person, she wanted to become a pilot but though piloting was too hard and you would need years of experience, so she decided to become an actress, her acting was quite bad but a little good, so McDonnell starred in the horror film Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers having an uncredited role as 'Dr. Hoffman's assistant' you will see M.J. McDonnell in the beginning the woman on the ambulance car with the other doctor, and they take the mass murderer Michael Myers in front of them, then Michael manages to kill Dr. Hoffman (the male doctor).

She starred in the horror film Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers as "Dr. Hoffman's assistant". It was her only film she appeared in.

On January 22, 2000, McDonnell died of ovarian cancer at the age of 47. She died in Santa Monica, California, the place where she spent her final years.
