M. Athar Tahir

M. Athar Tahir is a Pakistani civil servant who has made his name as a poet, author, translator, painter and calligrapher.[1] He studied at Oxford University, England, the University of Pennsylvania, USA.

He has won many awards for his work including the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for literature in 1998, the Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Award in 1990, and the National Book Council Prize in 1991.[2]
