M-97 is a state trunkline in the U.S. state of Michigan. It runs from Detroit to just north of Mt. Clemens. It follows Groesbeck Highway. Groesbeck continues northward as North Avenue. The highway is named after Alex Groesbeck, former Michigan governor.

M-97 starts at M-3 and follows Gunston Avenue, then turns into Hoover Street, follows north until it turns into Groesbeck Highway, just 1 block south of 8 Mile Road. Groesbeck continues mostly northeast until Hall Road, where M-97 ends.
