[edit] Route description

M-135 began at an intersection with US 2 just west of Gould City. From there the route traveled to the north passing by South Manistique, Manistique and North Manistique Lakes before turning to the east where it terminated at a junction with M-28 just south of McMillan.[4][5]

[edit] History

M-135 was designated a state trunkline in 1928. The route remained largely unchanged up until its removal from the state trunkline system in 1960. The road served as a connector between US 2 and M-28 while serving the small communities of Curtis and Helmer. Presently, the road retains the designation H-33, and is also known as Manistique Lakes Road.[4]
