This image (call number OP-19405) is from the collection of the photographs of the late Otto Perry (b.1894, d.1970) held at the Western History Department of the Denver Public Library (http://photoswest.org/), and is copyrighted. The department actively encourages fair use of its images for educational purposes.

The image shows the equipment described by the article while the train was in regular service.
The image cannot be recreated with current photographic equipment because the equipment pictured in the image has been scrapped.
Use of a low-resolution, black and white version of this image does not hamper or dilute the copyright holder's use of the original image.
No free alternatives are available.
