[edit] Razor Blades

When I was in Turkey, the thing everybody mentioned about this artist was that his fans would bring razor-blades to his concerts and cut themselves, to show solidarity with the pain and sorrow expressed in his songs. I was also told of at least one show where ticket purchasers were given a razor-blade together with the tickets. Does anyone have sources that could be cited for this kind of thing?

Come to think of it, I actually met a teenager who proudly showed me scars that he claimed were from this sort of activity at a Müslüm Gürses show. If anyone could find some article describing this kind of thing, I think it would be an interesting addition to the page. Thanks. --JrFace (talk) 15:08, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
