The Müggelturm is a tower in Berlin, Germany. It's located on the Kleiner Müggelberg (small Müggelhill), next to the Müggelsee in Köpenick.

1889 - the tower was built of wood in a Chinese pagoda style. It was 27 m tall and offered a good view of the surrounding forest, the Müggelsee, and the Berlin skyline. Thus, it quickly became a popular destination for day trippers.

The tower survived the First and Second World War, but burned down on May 19, 1958. Reconstruction began shortly after. Many residents supported it with donations and voluntary work. The new tower was inaugurated on December 30, 1961. Being a rather bare Plattenbau building, the new tower is often regarded as less attractive than the original, but remains popular for day trips.

It is 29 m tall, consists of 9 floors and has a viewing platform on the top.

Rust and moisture are currently damaging the building. There have been efforts to renovate the building, but the restaurant area's outlook is poor with some doubt as to whether it is, in fact, beyond repair.
