Mézières is a municipality in the district of Glâne in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland.
It was first recorded in 1179 as de Maseriis.
The municipality had 278 inhabitants in 1811, which increased to 322 in 1850, 406 in 1900, 421 in 1950, 461 in 1980 and 674 in 2000. In 2004 its territory was enlarged with the formerly independent municipality of Berlens.
