Métis Transit Limited is a privately run municipal-style public transit provider in Ontario. Established in 2001, Métis Transit Ltd is Canada's first aboriginal run transit service in Canada. It employed both aboriginal, (Métis) and non-Aboriginal staff. Operations are done currently without funding from any town, region, province or federal Governments.
