Mérida Unión Deportiva is a football team based in Mérida, Spain in the autonomous community of Extremadura. Founded in 1912 and refounded in 1990, the club plays in Segunda División B - Group 4.

- CP Mérida was founded in 1912 as Sportiva Emeritense and was the CP Mérida that play in Primera División.
In 2000 CP Mérida disappears due to serious economic problems and his reserve team, Mérida Promesas, that was founded in 1990, changing her name to Mérida UD becomes the principal team of Mérida.
