Márcio Nobre

Márcio Ferreira Nobre (also known as Mert Nobre) (born November 6, 1980 in Jateí), is a Brazilian football (soccer) player. He plays at the striker position.
Nobre was transferred to Fenerbahçe SK after his former team-mate, Alex, was snapped up by the club. Joining during the winter break, he would finish the season efficiently, scoring 12 goals in 18 matches. After Fenerbahçe lost the 2005/06 title, Nobre was released due to the rule of 6 non-Turkish players in a squad limit.
At the end of 2005/06 season he moved to archrivals Beşiktaş from Cruzeiro in a 2 million euro deal. At the start of the 2006/07 season, he changed his name to Mert Nobre, after he gained Turkish citizenship. He currently has the chance of playing for the Turkey national football team if he is elected by the manager, following in suit of former team-mate and friend, Mehmet Aurélio
He played at Paysandu, XV de Piracicaba, Sport, Paraná Clube, Kashiwa Reysol, Cruzeiro, Fenerbahçe SK and is currently playing at Beşiktaş of Turkey.
