Márcio Montarroyos

Márcio Montarrotos was a Brazilian trumpet player.
Starting his studies with classical piano, he later went to trumpet and jazz. In the 70's, he traveled to USA, to study at Berklee School of Music.
He played with many great artists, including Stevie Wonder, Sergio Mendes, Sarah Vaughan, Hermeto Pascoal, Nancy Wilson, Egberto Gismonti, Carlos Santana, Milton Nascimento, Ella Fitzgerald, Tom Jobim and Ney Matogrosso.
He died on Dec 12, 2007.
