[edit] Major edit

I deleted the following when I replaced it with text translated from the more complete Spanish-language article:

González received his first international cap May 1, 1979 in a friendly match against Mexico. He would go on to receive a total of 48 caps for the El Salvador team, leading them to the 1982 FIFA World Cup, and scoring a total of 40 goals for the team.

While it provides a few more specific details about his career, it seemed excessive to list off his exact accomplishments when they appear in the table next to the article. Also, the Spanish-language article did not contain any references, so I couldn't fact-check some of the things which were mentioned, much less cite them.

I forgot to sign my previous post, sorry. I also went ahead and added that paragraph from above under an International Career subheading.Isaiahcambron 01:11, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Birth

When was Gonzalez born? According to this he was born in 1958, but the Spanish-language article lists 1957. Which was it? A look around the wider web gave no clue as Google now takes Wikipedia's word for it.Isaiahcambron 01:13, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
