Lyudmila Andonova

Lyudmila Andonova (born 1960-05-06 in Novocherkassk, Soviet Union) is a retired high jumper from Bulgaria, who was born as Lyudmila Zhecheva. She set the women's world record in the high jump event on 1984-07-20 in East Berlin, jumping 2.07 metres. Andonova competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, finishing in fifth place (1.93 metres) alongside Romania's Galina Astafei.
