Sure go ahead, use all you want. They're not really "mine" anyway. I got them from elsewhere as well. Dismas|(talk) 13:14, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Scout

Yes, Scout was missing, that's a given, but the details in the newspaper article are incorrect. Those statements were from a rent a cop not the P.D., and well, we all know how the media misconstrues things. The general public does not know the details. I'm all about the truth, but what's been said isn't and it is not for anyone to discuss except Scout, when she is ready. I fail to understand why it needs to be posted, as it's not relevant to her career. As for her birth name, it has been changed legally to Scout, and the removal of her birthdate is for safety reasons. I ask that you consider how this non-truthful article/information is affecting Scout.

[edit] hmmmm....

Read my edits, I linked this article with the missing white woman article to link them together. Understanding is a three edged sword. Your side, the police side and the truth. She was newsworthy enough to belisted in the above article. I just linked the two. I referenced statements made by and to the media and the police. [1]

Ms. Taylor-Compton will be of age, as of February 21 of this year she will be of age to make that decision on her own. As a spouse of a rape survivor, I know all about trama. However pretending thit did not happen olny makes it worse. A google search for Ms. Taylor-Compton will turn up the events of 2005. Are you going to edit the missing white woman article two?

In the are of 1-800-USSEARCH, and the internet, changing your name will not sheild you. Ms. Taylor-Compton, if she does fear for her safety must take realistic measures, self-defense or martial arts classes would be a good start. Having you edit her wikipedia entry cannot sheild her.

[edit] Scout Taylor-Compton

I realize what you're trying to accomplish by putting the protection template on the S.T-C. article but that's not the way pages get protected. See WP:SEMI for the semi-protection policy. An admin actually has to go through the process of locking an article. Normal users like you and I can't just throw the template up on that page and get it protected. Besides which, I don't think it deserves protection since Lylith has contacted both of us and seems to finally be trying to work this out in an adult manner as opposed to simply blanking the info. [edit] Lineage of Lyta Alexander

I probably agree with you about this article, but given the way the prod was done, I felt it was best to remove it. Suggesting a merge prevents deletion, since the GFDL requires a record of edits be kept. Plus your comments should not have been put on the main article, but on the talk page instead. Feel free to make a merge and redirect to Lyta Alexander though, if that's what you really want to do. FrozenPurpleCube 07:00, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, I don't know the sources either, though I suspect either a novelization, or the RPG. FrozenPurpleCube 02:38, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Lisa Jane Phillips

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Lisa Jane Phillips, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Lisa Jane Phillips seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Lisa Jane Phillips, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Ethylene glycol, 2-Butoxyethanol

Hi there

I've undone your edits on 2-Butoxyethanol because you appear to have confused the two. One possible name for 2-butoxyethanol is ethylene glycol, monobutyl ether. In other words, 2-butoxyethanol is the butyl ether of ethylene glycol; they are not synonymous. If you have other questions, please drop them at my talk page. --Rifleman 82 (talk) 10:26, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
