[edit] 68.110.237.99
Lynnathon,
I am the user that you just sent a message to, my IP address is 68.110.237.99. I have had this account for several months, and I am a bit worried that people may not be able to see that I am a registered user.
Nonetheless, thank you for welcoming me into the community.

[edit] Plant-stub
Sorry for the slow reply; I was sure I'd already done so (but must just be losing it). Opinion is actually somewhat divided on wikiproject links on stub templates: many think they should be kept relatively concise, especially as they're "meta-information" in the main article space. A good alternative may be to place a link, and other desired information, on the stub category page Cat:plant stubs. If you really wish to edit the template, I believe the technically correct procedure is to place a request for protected edit on the corresponding talk page. (In this case the protection is for reasons of high levels of inclusion, which has server load implications on a per-edit basis, rather than being a matter of content as such.) Alai 05:38, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- P.S.: Please don't create a duplicate stub for the same purpose, that's expressly against the stub guidelines. OTOH, they're getting quite oversized, so if you have any ideas for a split, that'd be most welcome. Alai 21:40, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wives and girlfriends
Someone has nominated the article for speedy deletion... I don't think it quite meets those criteria - but I think it's something awful nonetheless. Would you agree with its deletion please? There's no shortage of important topics on WP that need to be covered before we can get to them wives and girlfiends. - CrazyRussian talk/email 19:41, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for peer review
Hi, I put an article up for peer review, Date cultivation in Dar al-Manasir, and found your name in the horticulture wikiproject list of people. If you have some time, I think it would make a great FA and wanted to get some expert advice. cc: user:SB Johnny, quercus robur, user:NoahElhardt, Cas Liber, User:Doc Tropics, Lynnathon, Benjamin, HelloMojo, Strobilus.
