[edit] Isobar communications
A tag has been placed on Isobar communications, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Pyrospirit Flames Fire 15:29, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- In response to your message on my talk page: I tagged the page for speedy deletion because it seemed to be purely advertising for the company. An article about a company isn't meant to advertise for the company, so it must be written from a Neutral point of view, establish Notability, and provide Reliable sources. Also, you said "my boss yelled at me about it," which I take to mean that you work for the company. This is a Conflict of interest, which means that if the company is indeed notable, someone not associated with the company should know about it well enough to create the article. As it currently stands, though, the article is pretty much advertising for the company, which is not the purpose of Wikipedia. Pyrospirit Flames Fire 15:56, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

- I'm glad to see that the article has improved; you seem to have done a good job with it so far. With regards to you working at the company, you can still write the article, but keep in mind that it's good to have other people write about it to have a wider perspective. Anyway, keep up the good work on the article. Here's some useful pages to read for advice on improving an article: Manual of Style, Guide to writing your first article, Article development guide. Good luck! Pyrospirit Flames Fire 15:19, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
