Minor character that did something heroic. does not fulfill notability criteria and the article reads like a plot summary. Merge--Lucy-marie 17:08, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Do not merge. I believe he meets the notability criteria as he played a major role on the events of season five. 40% of the staff of CTU survived the nerve gas attack because of his sacrifice. DO NOT MERGE!!! What have you got against this wonderful character? He wasn't a minor character! I loved Lynn McGill! Best darned boss CTU had! Of all the nerve!
The above coments are the main reason to megre it is far to fan base 'wonderful' is full of POV. far too much emtion is put into a FICTIONAL character. take a step back a momant and look at it from the POV of someone who has never seen 24. the character is minor, not major and Notability in the wider 24 universe of the wider world has not been given. I don't know what you mean, but my comment was objective. No character but Jack is significant in the wider 24 universe by your definitions. What about countering my points of view? I'm afraid your argument was not a valid argument to my previous comment. You did not address any of my points.
I address every single point of your you just dislike the answer and yes all but a few characters are notable. Jack and Kim Bauer David and Wayne (and possibly Sherry) Palmer Mike Novic, Chole, Bill and a couple of other and that about it really not a character who appeared in ten episodes out of 144.--Lucy-marie (talk) 23:27, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Thats not notability that is a plot summary and please see WP:NOT#PLOT also appearing in fewere than half a season is virtually gonna ake the character no notable multi seaso characters are the only one who stand a chance at notabiity. oh and look at the big picture luv.--Lucy-marie (talk) 00:26, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, but no. Each season has its own major characters that contribute to the whole. Would the main character be alive without this particular character? No. That is contribution. Though if you are the same who claimed that George Mason is not a major character, then, I suppose there is little hope for you. 'Love'.
