Lynne McGranger

Lynne McGranger (b. 29 January 1953) is an Australian actress best known for her role as Irene Roberts on soap opera Home and Away.
Started as a primary school teacher trained at the Riverina College of Advanced Education in Wagga Wagga N.S.W. where she had her initial actor training. Early roles included Rose in Bye Bye Birdie and Anita in West Side Story. After further experience with the Q Theatre in Penrith N.S.W. she started working in television when she got a brief appearance in 'The Flying Doctors.' In 1992, she joined the cast of Home and Away as a guest but became a permanent cast member in August 1993. She is a natural blond.
Lynne appears on the The Morning Show every Friday at 10am in a similar style to Sunrise's "All-Stars" segment, two commentators are featured as part of "The Jury" on The Morning Show.
McGranger lives in Sydney and has one daughter named Clancy.
McGranger performs regularly in Pantomimes throughout the UK at Christmas. In January 2007, she played the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella.
She also appears each Monday on Sydney radio station HEART 103.2 in Aaron & Jarrod's breakfast show, presenting a wrap-up of the weekend's sport.
