Lynda Sorenson

Lynda Sorenson (born: ) is a politician in Northwest Territories, Canada.

Lynda served one term in the Legislative Assembly of Northwest Territories she was elected in the 1979 Northwest Territories general election. She served until 1983.

Lynda has been a high profile Liberal in the territory, she ran for the Liberal Party of Canada in Western Arctic in the 1984 Canadian federal election finishing third in a tight three way race.

In 2002 she became the focus of a scandal in the Northwest Territories government after the auditor general revealed she had been paid $250,000.00 more severance then she was entitled to.
