Lynbrook is a proposed railway station on the Cranbourne railway line in Melbourne, Victoria. The station is to be located north of Aylmer Road in Lynbrook, adjacent to the pedestrian underpass built in 2005.[2]
The station is to include:[2]
- a bus station and taxi rank;
- car park and kiss-and-ride facilities;
- two platforms of 160m length;
- shelters and seating for passengers;
- ticket machines;
- displays for timetables and information;
- CCTV;
- bicycle facilities; and
- covered walkways, ramps and stairs.
The State Government is currently assessing the station's plans and facilities, with an outcome due in 2008. The station is proposed to be built between 2011 and 2016.[2]
