Lymbia is the correct name, pronounced in the exact way as the natives call it. Lympia was a proposal.

I am afraid you are wrong. Lympia is the official spelling used by the Republic of Cyprus, read this document if you wish [1] Can't you see that even the residents of Lympia (lympiotes) spell their village this way?
