Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA)

The Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA - French American Highschool, lycee francais) was founded in 1978 by a small group of people from French, American and other backgrounds and cultures.
The school prepares the children for life in an international environment. Through the cultures of USA and France, students learn about the world at large.
The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (90% success rate the last past 3 years), the French Baccalaureate Program (100% success rate in 2005, in 2006 and 2007) and a high school diploma. The school also offers the French Brevet des Collèges to the 9th graders (100% success rate in 2005, in 2006 and 2007).

[edit] MOVIE “MY LILA”
That Chloe created “My LILA”, in which a student narrates in both French and English, showing images of the student body, faculty, staff, and parents. The film was selected among several student film entries to be shown on Newsweek.com.
At a Los Angeles City Council meeting in late June 2007, Councilman Tom LaBonge presented Chloé with a certificate of recognition (from Antonio Villaraigosa, Mayor of Los Angeles) for the creative interpretation of the school. To view the movie “My LILA” [1]

The Main campus (Los Feliz ) is located in the Franklin Hills section of Los Angeles, California, right next to the famous Shakespeare Bridge, built in 1926. The bridge was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1974.
Moreover the school is located up the Prospect Studios, home of the ABC Television Center.

The demographic includes students from all around the world. They have a 100% graduation rate as well as high test scores.
