[edit] Chernobyl disaster

Hi, you recently added a pov tag to one of the section of Chernobyl disaster entry, however you did not elaborate on the talk page. Could you add your comment on what's the pov, and what you think needs to be done to correct it at Talk Page for Chernobyl disaster? --Riurik(discuss) 05:47, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor images

Firstly, thank you for your additions to Wikipedia.

The images you uploaded to this article look very good, however, you tagged them with the logo tag. I have tried to demonstrate the proper way to write a fair-use rational with the first one. You essentially must make an argument to keep the copyrighted content in every case, and if you leave them as they are now, they will probably get deleted sooner or later. -Theanphibian (talkcontribs) 05:30, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mediation

There's a discussion at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution that covers the procedures.

Since the offending pie chart was replaced, the only solid complaint I can make is about the Gore quotation. But that seems somewhat petty and not worth looking for mediation.

What prompted my interest in seeking mediation has more to do with Cyrilledunant's attitude that he's entitled to change anything he chooses and revert any changes others make to his changes. The fact is, some of his writing is unintelligible. Beyond that, he's determined to keep the junk in the article just to prove he can.

On the other hand, the discussion isn't supposed to be a bitch fest and this whine seems undignified even to me.

So, what part of the disagreement are you interested in? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cde3 (talkcontribs) 06:55, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:AP1000SimulatedNight.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:AP1000SimulatedNight.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 21:02, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RBMK moderator

  1. I don't think you read it correctly. The point was that Western reactors are differently moderated from the RBMK and therefore cannot duplicate the Chernobyl accident.
  2. If memory serves, RBMK reactors now use more highly enriched uranium than they did when the accident happened which somehow makes them safer (presumably by preventing some idiot removing all of the control rods). Man with two legs (talk) 22:13, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
