Luxoft

Luxoft is a Russian software developer and IT services exporter. Spun out as a subsidiary of the Russian IT services business, IBS Group, in 2000, Luxoft has offices in the U.S., U.K., Russia, Ukraine and Canada.
Luxoft provides a wide range of custom software development services for IT solutions on various platforms and technologies, based on a branded offshore engagement model. Luxoft was the first in Europe to achieve a Level 5 CMMI quality appraisal.[1]
Luxoft enjoys long-term business relationships with clients across IT, Manufacturing, Energy, Aviation, Finance and Government sectors including some of the best-known Fortune Global 500 corporations such as Boeing, Deutsche Bank, IBM, and Dell, according to its website. Luxoft also works closely with many mid-size growth companies and ISVs.
In "Angling To Be The Next Bangalore," a 2006 article part of a BusinessWeek cover story on outsourcing,"[2] Luxoft was highlighted for its work: "None has yet matched the success of Moscow's Luxoft, which snagged high-profile jobs developing a document management system for Boeing (BA ) and a sophisticated customer management tool for Deutsche Bank."

Luxoft has received industry recognition for its work. The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) named Luxoft as a Rising Star in the IAOP's Global Outsourcing 100 in 2006 & 2007. The Global Services Magazine named Luxoft to its Global Services 100 in 2006. And Luxoft was named as the world’s #1 IT Outsourcing Product Engineering vendor by the Black Book of Outsourcing.

Luxoft runs research and offshore development centers in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Dubna, and Omsk), Ukraine (Kiev, Odessa, and Dnepropetrovsk) and Canada (Vancouver).
