[edit] Perkins' Death

The Tennessee Two article says that Perkins died from smoke inhalation when he fell asleep with a lit cigarette in his mouth. This article says he died from injuries received in a house fire. Does anyone know the true/exact story? -- Mpeg4codec 23:38, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] foul play

I removed this from the article: Authorities claimed the fire was caused either by suicide or foul play, but Cash believed Perkins fell asleep on his couch with a lit cigarette. I can't find any source for the suicide or foul play theory. Joyous | Talk 16:36, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The movie scene

I get a little uncomfortable when we start to substantiate "cause of death" with evidence like a scene in a movie. Please ensure that the text makes it clear to the reader that the movie scene was only that until we have a move reliable source. -- 67.116.253.187 21:30, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] More on the movie scene

"on a late night busride to a performance" I believe this should be from a performance, but I'll let someone more certain decide.

[edit] Good article

Very good article! I just corrected a "to"/"too" typo in the "Walk the line" part. The removing of the suicide rumour or whatever it might have been is right I think. It is impossible to find such a theory and that does absolutely not fit into that article, because it has got nothing to do with the truth. But everything else is just fine, a "moving" article for me. Wow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.244.178.254 (talk) 13:37, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Suggest we change the title on the bit about the formation of the Cash band (the Tennessee Two) to something a little more encyclopedic. Possibly along the lines of "The Cash Period," or "Work with Johnny Cash." Just a thought. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamandrewssoul (talkcontribs) 23:17, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
